Trevor and Jill Fitzburgh have created Trevor and Jill Talk, now in it’s second year of live streaming talk show utilizing social media platforms. The show has garnered thousands of views and excellent reviews as Trevor and Jill tackle both serious and not so serious issues. Their tagline of “Talk, Trends and Philanthropy” speaks to their commitment to the community as well as promoting local business owners and thoughtful discussions of topics important to their viewers.
With a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard, experience as a Sales Executive at Nomura Securities, extensive not-for-profit organization board work, and as a relationship expert with 14 years experience in high conflict couples counseling and executive coaching, Trevor advises companies, family businesses, and executives on creating[TC1] high performing teams in safe, innovative, and inclusive work environments that lead to a higher employee satisfaction and productivity, while boosting the bottom line.
Trevor is passionate about helping companies develop leadership from within. She is particularly interested in working with high potential employees, helping them improve employee engagement, their communication styles, run effective meetings, and build high performing teams.
Trevor’s expertise in relationship coaching is built on her EFT training and her high conflict couples, stepfamily and business coaching work. Her latest book, Blending Families: Merging Households with Kids 8-18, co-authored with Maryann Karinch addresses the trickiest aspects of successfully blending families and organizations. As with all high conflict relationships, coaching and communication is the key to success business and familial relationships.
Her diverse educational background includes a BA from Wellesley College, a BS from Parson’s School of Design, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Trevor earned her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT degree) from Fairfield University. Trevor opened her private executive coaching and family therapy practice in 2006. Trevor became a Certified Executive Coach through the Center for Executive Coaching.
Jill Fitzburgh is the co-host of Trevor and Jill Talk, a local online talk show bringing a fresh perspective to today’s most relevant opics ranging from women’s issues, health and fitness, relationships and style. Jill and Trevor especially like to highlight opportunities that can benefit their audience of primarily Fairfield County women, from events to fitness routines, philanthropy to human interest stories, cuisine to style and design. They are called upon to host shows and special events.
Jill is also the co-founder and Director of Speakers and Events for The Foundation for Gender Equality (FGE), www.foundationforgenderequality.org . Jill has produced unique events for the Foundation highlighting exceptional advocates and survivors dedicated to ending gender-based violence and discrimination. These events have included a full day conference on gender equality and empowerment held at the United Nations in 2016, featuring some of the world’s leading experts and champions, as well as an awards event and the ground-breaking “ManUp: Allies and Advocates” program . Jill is also playing a key role in producing FGE’s exciting inaugural concert and fundraiser slated for January 31 at NYU’s Skirball Center, titled “SING ME AS I AM”.
Jill is also a Business Development Manager for the “Tech Up for Women” Conference in New York City, which is focused on helping women advance in their careers.
A former marketing and sales executive for one of the nation’s largest real estate investment firms, JMB Realty, Jill is a Chicago native and a Tulane University graduate. In addition, she lends her time and expertise as a board member for The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, which serves thousands of survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse.
